Havantec & Pure Ingredients: a successful partnership

Inspired by different corners of the world, Pure Ingredients has been producing products from various cuisines that form the basis for delicious dishes since 1993. The company grew - initially under the name Mekkafood - quickly to become a market leader in the Halal market. In the meantime the family business has more than 180 employees and the Pure Ingredients range has grown into a unique brand portfolio consisting of Lekker&Anders, Mekkafood, Herrenhof and several private labels.

In the own production facilities in Germany and the Netherlands carefully selected raw materials are processed. There is continuous investment in new methods to improve the products. In this way Pure Ingredients guarantees at all times the food safety, halal worthiness and A-brand quality of the entire range. In this way the company offers an accessible range of frozen pizzas, snacks and ready-made dishes for everyone who wants something different on the table every now and then.

The relationship between Havantec and Pure Ingredients began some 15 years ago. Edgar Hanssen, Director of Production at Pure Ingredients: ''I have been working in the food industry for many years and have now worked with Havantec on various projects. The partnership arose about 15 years ago because I was looking for a suitable supplier for a number of box elevators. Havantec has a personal approach, no-nonsense mentality and an excellent price-quality ratio, and that really appealed to me. This first cooperation went so well that Havantec is always on my list of preferred suppliers.

Pure Ingredients now has a wide range of machines and installations from Havantec. From hygiene sluices and boot dryers to standard truck elevators and complete mixing plants.

''When we purchased the 2 large paddle mixers, we looked carefully at the required application and the desired specifications of the machine. Often suppliers fill the machines with bells and whistles that in most cases are not necessary to make the product. Havantec provides good advice in this respect. Together with the excellent price-quality ratio, this was the determining factor for choosing Havantec.''

''We had the challenge of placing the two mixers in an existing space where the height in particular was a limiting factor.'' A challenge that Havantec gladly accepted! Through a personal and practical approach, both parties arrived at a suitable solution. The installation and associated commissioning went smoothly and according to plan.

By now Pure Ingredients has a wide range of machines and installations from Havantec. From hygiene sluices and boot dryers to standard truck elevators and complete mixing plants.

Pure Ingredients will soon open a new production location in Belfeld. Due to good experiences in the past Havantec was the first party to come into the picture for the hygiene equipment. There is a wide range of products available for various applications so that the equipment can be tailored to our needs. The good price-quality ratio also plays a major role in this.''
